One of our missions in life is to never waste your time by playing the same songs over and over.
We guarantee this by offering a $1000 Guaranteed No Repeat Work Day!
Here’s the deal: if we play the same song between 9am and 5pm on any given weekday, we will give $1000 to the first person that calls us on that bulls#!t.
Don’t believe us? Check out this pic over here of Max listener Allan winning $1000 because Liz screwed up and played the same song twice in one day (see how thrilled she is??) >>>>
Look, mistakes do happen and we reserve the right not to pay out if some kind of technical problem beyond our control results in a song playing twice in the same day. But if we straight up screw up and play a song twice by our own action, OR we feel a little spicy and intentionally play one twice just to keep you on your toes… you could score a big fat payday.
This is a legit contest with real money on the line so there are some other rules… check them out below.
Rules (yes there are rules)
- The $1000 No Repeat Work Day Guarantee promotion will be on-going until further notice.
- The contest will be run on normal working weekdays, Monday to Friday during the hours 9:00am to 5:00pm local time. Statutory Holidays (including but not limited to Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Monday, Canada Day, Family Day, Civic Holiday, etc.) are not included. To be eligible to win the $1000 cash prize, prospective participants need to be deemed the first to call the station on Studio line: 1-705-326-8989 or the Office: 1-705-325-9786 and identify that the same version of the song, by the same artist or band has been played in its entirety more than once between the exact hours of 9am to 5pm only on weekdays Monday to Friday inclusively. Only if the caller is deemed by the Program Director as the “first caller through” on the appropriate phone number and if the same version of the song by the same artist has actually played will that caller be entitled to receive a cheque to the cash value of $1000 (One Thousand Dollars).
- Should there be technical difficulties during the hours of the 9 to 5 No Repeat Workday and a song is accidentally repeated on-air as a result, possibly because (but not limited to) a “back up” selection of music being broadcast from the transmitter, not from the on-air studio, then any repetition of these songs will not be regarded as a repeated song and therefore no caller is eligible to receive the cash prize. Also, songs may occasionally be repeated intentionally for special occasions and are not eligible for the contest.
- The only way to enter this competition is through the use of an ordinary telephone or mobile phone by calling the Studio line: 1-705-326-8989 or the Office: 1-705-325-9786, no other method of entry will be accepted (including text, email or social media).
