Police have arrested four suspects, and are looking for a fifth, after a string of bank holdups including occurrences in Feversham and Barrie over the last couple of years. There were eight robberies in various communities. The bandits would go into the banks just before closing and use a handgun to force employees to hand over cash. A total of $ 2 million was lost, and none of it has been recovered.
The accused are all in their 20s and 30s, from the Toronto area.
In the Feversham case, the target was a credit union, which closed permanently after the robbery.
