Barrie Police have charged a 17-year-old suspect with child porn offenses.
On October 26th, 2021 they started their investigation after receiving a tip someone was using Facebook to distribute child porn.
Then on March 30th, 2022 a search warrant was executed at a residence in north Barrie and police seized several computer devices belonging to a suspect.
Today they arrested the suspect and charged him with Accessing and Possession of Child Porn.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
