A 4 day work week begins today in Springwater Township, at least for its employees.
The new pilot program will be in effect for the next five months and will also see extended municipal office hours.
Under the proposed model, Township staff will work longer days, either from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, reaching the same 35 or 40 hour work week as they do under the existing 5-day model.
Meanwhile, the Township Administration Centre will be open to the public from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
As of Monday, April 25, 2022, the Township Administration Centre will be open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday. These hours will remain in effect during the Township’s five month compressed work week pilot program. Learn more at https://t.co/dR65ODS24I pic.twitter.com/qHVjoIlDZ7
