Comedian Brent Butt is coming to Orillia for a special fundraiser at the Opera House.
The event featuring the comedian and Corner Gas star is taking place on May 4th and is being hosted by The Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition.
If that’s not enough, before the laughs, the Boathouse Blues Band is playing a set of blues favourites while guests mingle, shop, and learn. Glass artist Deb Brown will be on site selling her All Nations Water Protector jewelry. Greeting cards featuring local Lake Simcoe artwork will be sold by the Coalition. Long time Lake Simcoe cottager Ed Evans is auctioning a collection of stunning artwork by Ron Bolt (including the image provided) in a silent auction to support the Coalition. Guests will have time and space to learn about Lake Simcoe and the work of the Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 4th, 2022. Doors at 6p.m.; performances start at 7p.m.
WHERE: The Orillia Opera House, 1 West St. N. Orillia. Tickets are sold at the box office and on-line. Buy your tickets here.
WHY: A night of fun in support of The Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition. The Coalition’s ongoing activities include education and raising awareness of Lake Simcoe’s health, and advocating for sustainable solutions at all levels of government.
