The name of the victim of a fatal crash on Highway 11 has been released.
The OPP says 59 year old Norman Brandt from Gravenhurst was pronounced dead at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the highway at the Severn River Bridge around 8:30 Thursday morning.
Police say a tractor trailer struck a small tractor on the roadway, which led to a secondary collision involving multiple other vehicles and a 25 year old woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and further updates will be released as information becomes available.
