Police around Lake Simcoe have been warning for several days of dangerous ice conditions, but Saturday again saw first responders putting themselves in danger to rescue stranded people.
This time OPP and two fire departments were called to an ice floe off Oro-Medonte, where two people on an ATV were in danger.
The pair was rescued by crews on board a hovercraft.
Similar incidents had occurred at various locations around the lake during the previous two days.
OPP say the ice is not safe, and are urging people to stay off.
