A Florida man who was photographed carrying the lectern from the House of Representative chambers during the riot at the U.S. Capitol has been arrested.
According to jail records, 36-year-old Adam Christian Johnson was arrested on a federal warrant late Friday and booked into the Pinellas County jail without bond.
He is reportedly charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; one count of theft of government property; and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Johnson’s arrest was one of three reported Saturday by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, with more than a dozen arrested so far.
Last Wednesday’s riot left five people dead, including a Capitol Police Officer.
