Enthusiastic gardeners are needed in Orillia.
St. James’ Anglican Church on Peter St. North is looking for gardeners to help with its onsite Community Veggie garden.
Some of the tasks include: cleaning up winter debris, making necessary repairs, planning, planting, watering and harvesting.
It says the current volunteers could definitely use assistance!
The produce is used for its Loonie Lunch Outreach ministry, as well as other food assistance programs in our city.
