There’s been a drug bust in Orillia.
The OPP says a search warrant was executed at a hotel room in the city on St Patrick’s Day when officers seized a quantity of Black Fentanyl, Cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash.
As a result of the investigation, Kyle HOPE, 25 of North York, has been charged with:
· Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) 5(2)
· Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) 5(2)
· Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000, Criminal Code (CC) 354(1)(a)
· Obstruct a Peace Officer, Criminal Code (CC) 129(a)
The accused party is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia in April 2022, to answer to the charges.
