Impaired driving charges have been laid, following a two-vehicle crash in Ramara.
The OPP says it happened on Highway 12 at Rama Road on Friday, sending one driver to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say as a result of the investigation, Leslie BECHER, 63 years of age, of Port Perry, has been charged contrary to the Criminal Code (CC) with:
- Operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams, CC s. 320.14(1)(b)
- Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, CC s. 320.14(1)(a)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia, on March 22, 2022.
