A new temporary outdoor light installation is operating in downtown Barrie
The display is called Cycle and it will be at Meridian Place until January 18.
A city news release says the display is inspired by the revolutions of the sun and the moon and comes to life with the rhythm of human interaction and evokes the halo effect of an eclipse through light animation, intensity, colour and sound.
The city reminds visitors to the installation to wear a mask and stay two metres away from anyone not in their household.
The installation is sponsored in part by Alectra.
