Blue Mountain Resort is opening for the season this Saturday.
There will be three lifts open and novice skiers and snowboarders will be able to use one beginner area.
This is the 80th ski season for the resort.
The slopes are to open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting on Saturday and continuing seven days a week.
Blue Mountain will continue snow making operations to be able to open more areas soon.
This weekend and this season, mountain access is available to pass holders and hotel guests only.
