Cineplex is reopening 25 theatres across the province today.
Galaxy Cinemas Barrie, in the city’s south end is among the theatres being allowed to reopen, while the majority of the rest are in the GTA.
The company says most of its 43 theatres in the province will re-open over the next few weeks.
The theatres will be showing the films that were being featured on the big screen when the COVID-19 pandemic forced their closure in March for only 5 dollars, or $2.99 on Tuesdays.
Titles include: Beauty and the Beast, Jaws, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Invisible Man, Bloodshot, Sonic the Hedgehog, My Spy, Jurassic Park, Gravity, and Jumanji: The Next Level.
