More local municipalities are opening up outdoor facilities.
-In Barrie, the Tiffin Boat Launch and the Off Leash dog park on Bayview Drive are now open, while the marina, boat launch and Bayfield basin transient boat docks will reopen today.
However, beaches, outdoor playground equipment, waterfront fitness equipment and splash pads remain closed.
Meanwhile, boat launches are now available to the public in Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny townships.

-Starting at 10 this morning, the bike park at Horseshoe Resort will be open.
It will be open Friday – Sunday from 10am – 5pm starting this week, but recommended safety measures will be in place for both riders and Horseshoe team members.

– Hardwood Ski and Bike is opening its Oro-Medonte trails Saturday morning.
-In Wasaga Beach, tennis courts, our dog parks, the skate park, soccer pitches and baseball fields are open for individual use only, while outdoor playgrounds – Play structures and equipment, will remain closed until later stages of the province’s reopening plan.

-Clearview Parks are now open to the public for non-team sports activities, while playground equipment, washrooms and changerooms remain closed. The Clearview Dog Park will re-open today.

-In Huntsville, tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts have reopened, along with skateboard parks, frisbee golf, and off leash dog areas.
However, All Town outdoor playgrounds, play structures and equipment are still closed
Sports Fields (soccer and baseball diamonds) at McCulley Robertson Recreation Park are also shut down for construction.

-The Town of Bracebridge has announced the reopening of outdoor sports facilities and multi-use fields, including baseball diamonds, soccer fields, Frisbee golf locations, tennis, platform tennis, table tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, BMX parks, and skate parks.
It says off-leash dog areas and outdoor picnic sites, benches and shelters in park and recreational areas will also be allowed to open again.
